Not so great!

On finally getting around to installing this kit (which came with my car when I bought it so thankfully no expense to me on buying the kit itself), what should have been a simple bolt-on swap of steering gear for overall improvement to the ride and control of the car turned into quite a bit of a headache during installation and continued drama and expense when in use afterwards, with little (if any) benefit to show for it.

- LHS bracket needs to be trimmed to fit factory mount.
- Supplied steering shaft needed quite a bit of modification to fit factory column.
- Tie rod ends hang low and also rub inside wall of tyres. Had to get narrower tyres fitted just to clear.
- Turning circle is now much wider for no apparent reason. Almost wide enough to make the car outright undrivable. Still trying to figure that one out...

These issues I encountered make this a problematic modification and simply not something I would ever recommend for the price. Much better off just reinforcing the chassis rail and keeping the factory steering.
