Transform the braking performance of your classic Chrysler Valiant with this complete front drum-to-disc upgrade, This precision-engineered conversion kit replaces your original drum brakes with modern 255mm disc brakes using quality DBA Street Series vented rotors and reconditioned R31 Skyline twin-piston calipers.

The kit moves the track out 16mm per side, giving a slight increase in track width for improved stability and handling while delivering significantly stronger, more progressive stopping power, better heat dissipation, and reduced brake fade compared to factory drums.

Everything you need is included in one comprehensive kit — no hunting for extra parts. It is designed to bolt onto standard Valiant stub axles and works with your existing 15/16” or 1” master cylinder and booster (provided they are in good condition) along with your original rear brakes.

Brake Components

• 2 × 255mm disc rotors (5×4.5" PCD double drilled to 5x4" PCD)
• 1 × Pair of reconditioned R31 Skyline front calipers finshed in gloss black high temp finish. 
• 1 × Set of brake pads
• 1 × Pair of custom hoses

Hub & Bearing Assembly

• 1 × Pair of Valiant drum hubs drilled to your required PCD
• 2 × Complete bearing sets including inner/outer bearings and grease seals.

Mounting Hardware & Brackets

• 1 × Pair of ring adapter brackets
• 1 × Pair of caliper brackets
• Full hardware kit

Requirements

• Minimum 14" suitable wheels (you must test-fit the assembled hub/disc/caliper inside your wheels before final assembly)
• 15/16” or 1” master cylinder with standard booster in good condition
• Original rear brakes in good condition
  
   

Important Information – Please Read Before Purchasing

• We guarantees fitment of the brake kit to the stub axles/struts only. We give no guarantee on brake-to-wheel clearances or fitment in relation to wheels.
   
• Mandatory step: Before assembling the vehicle, fit one hub/disc/caliper assembly inside your wheel to check for clearance. If you have clearance issues and the kit is unused and undamaged, you may return it in original packaging for a refund (small restocking fee applies; freight is not refunded).
   
• Compliance note: These brake upgrades are not pre-ADR approved. Victorian Vehicle Standards Information section 8 (and equivalent requirements in other states) advise that an approved Automotive Engineer should inspect any brake alterations that were not an original factory option. We strongly recommend having the completed vehicle inspected by a qualified Automotive Engineer and checking with your state authorities regarding approval and compliance for road-registered vehicles.
  
   
• New pads require proper bedding-in. Always bleed the system thoroughly, check for leaks, and road-test carefully after installation.
