The Carter Mechanical Fuel Pump is designed for vehicles with the 225 cubic inch (3.7L) Slant 6 engine. It meets original equipment specifications, providing reliable fuel delivery and consistent engine performance. The pump features a stamped steel chamber with a larger diameter diaphragm for high capacity and good vapor handling.
This pump operates at a maximum pressure of 5.5 PSI with a flow rating of 28 gallons per hour. It has a hose type inlet and a threaded outlet (1/2-20 UNF-2B thread). A gasket or seal is included, but mounting hardware is not supplied.
Suitable for various Chrysler and Dodge models from the 1970s and early 1980s, this fuel pump is factory tested and produced in a certified facility to ensure quality and reliability.
