Overview
These performance valve springs are a strong choice for small block engine builds running higher lift camshafts, including roller cam conversions on standard cast heads. With a typical installed pressure of 140 lb at 1.650 inch and support for up to 0.620 inch lift, they are well suited to street and performance Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth and Valiant small block applications where reliable valve control is important.
Supplied as a set of 16, these springs are suitable for a complete V8 cylinder head refresh or cam upgrade. As with any performance valvetrain component, installed height, retainer clearance, valve guide/seal clearance and coil bind clearance should be checked during assembly.
