The Deka Self-Fusing Auto Tape is a versatile solution for automotive repairs, electrical insulation, and various sealing applications. This black silicone tape measures 1 inch in width and 10 feet in length, providing ample coverage for multiple uses.

Designed to fuse upon itself when wrapped under tension, it forms a permanent, airtight, and waterproof bond without the need for adhesives. This feature makes it ideal for sealing hoses, splices, terminals, and electrical connections. The tape stretches up to 300% of its original length, accommodating irregular surfaces and complex shapes.

With a high dielectric strength, it insulates up to 8,000 volts per layer, ensuring reliable electrical protection. The tape is resistant to UV rays, oil, and corrosive chemicals, enhancing its durability in harsh environments. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -65°F to 500°F (-54°C to 260°C), making it suitable for both high and low-temperature applications.

The Deka Self-Fusing Auto Tape cures completely within 24 hours, leaving no sticky residue upon removal. It serves as an excellent alternative to heat shrink tubing and is compliant with UL standard 510 and MIL-I-46852C Type II standards.
