This B&M® Shift Improver™ kit fits all 1971-1977 Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth Torqueflite A727 transmissions.

The B&M Shift Improver Kit is a practical upgrade for Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth and Valiant builds running compatible Torqueflite A727 or V8 A904 automatic transmissions. Designed for 1971-1977 applications, it recalibrates the transmission to deliver firmer, more positive shifts while helping reduce shift overlap, clutch slip and band wear.

This kit gives you two setup options to suit the way the car is used. Stage 1 Heavy Duty is ideal for street-driven vehicles where you want a cleaner, more confident shift without making the car unpleasant to drive. Stage 2 Street/Strip is aimed at higher performance street cars or competition use, giving the quickest and hardest shift feel from the kit.

It is a smart choice during a restoration, transmission service or performance upgrade, especially where a stock automatic feels lazy, soft or inconsistent. Installation is intended for those with basic mechanical tools and suitable automatic transmission experience.
