Crower Severe-Duty retro-fit solid roller lifters are a premium valvetrain upgrade for serious Chrysler small block builds where strength, oil control and high-rpm reliability matter. Designed for performance LA small block 273, 318, 340 and 360 applications using the correct solid roller camshaft and pushrod oiling arrangement, these lifters are aimed at engines that see demanding street, strip or race use.

The Severe-Duty cutaway body is machined from heat-treated alloy for durability under heavy spring pressure and aggressive cam profiles. The solid roller design helps reduce friction compared with flat tappet arrangements, while the larger .812 inch roller bearing is built to handle the loads found in high-performance combinations. High Pressure Pin Oiling helps direct oil to the roller axle area, supporting bearing life in hard-working engines.

These are not a basic replacement lifter set. They are best suited to properly planned engine combinations with a compatible solid roller cam, checked lifter bore condition, correct pushrod length, suitable valve springs and verified valvetrain geometry.
