Overview
The Davies Craig Mechanical Thermatic® Fan Switch (Part #0401) is designed to work seamlessly with Davies Craig Thermatic® Electric Fans and Electric Water Pumps (EWPs®). This switch monitors the coolant temperature after it exits the engine block, prior to entering the radiator, and is adjustable between 40°C and 100°C (104°F to 212°F). The thermal switch is mounted near the radiator, with a stainless steel probe fitted inside the radiator hose, ensuring accurate temperature sensing.
This kit includes the thermal switch, a mounting bracket, a thermal switch knob, a rubber seal suitable for 1mm capillary, spade terminals, a red wire joiner, screws for installation, and comprehensive instructions. The sensor wire has a length of 110cm, providing flexibility during installation.
For 24-volt applications, a 24-volt relay is required for each electric fan. This relay can be purchased separately from Davies Craig.
