This is a new replacement fuel tank sending unit for 1962-65 Chrysler-built B-body Dodge and Plymouth sedans and hardtops, including the Australian-assembled 1962 Dodge Phoenix, which was based on the US 1962 Dodge Dart. It has a stainless steel pickup tube and a brass float, and comes with a new tank seal and lock ring, so it drops straight into the original tank and brings back a working fuel gauge.

It suits cars with the 5/16" fuel pickup. B-body tanks were also fitted with 3/8" and 1/2" pickups, and station wagons use a different, longer unit, so check the outlet size on your old sender and the line at the tank before ordering. Reproduction senders are linear, while the originals weren't, so the gauge may read slightly differently at the mid-range. A gauge interface unit can correct this if needed.
