This is the third edition of the book–hence the title Hey Charger III – with new material added into the engine chapter plus many new photographs.  This 50th Anniversary edition of the book is specially dedicated to the late Gary Bridger who sadly passed away in December 2019.  There is a special section with images of his immaculately restored E49 Charger as a tribute to him.

The book is the result of more ant two years of joint effort between Adelaide based motoring writer Gavin Farmer and New Zealand Charger enthusiast Gary Bridger.

Packed with around 70,000 words and 200 fabulous black and white and colour photos, including previously unpublished photos of the original designs by Bob Hubbach, the clay model and even some concepts that never made it to production.

Hey Charger contains all the information a Chrysler enthusiast could ever need to know: A complete history from concept to production; competition record; technical specifications for all models; production numbers; decoding the ID tags and engine numbers; option, paint and trim codes; R/T and six pack model description are just some of the details that are included within the pages of this book.

Also included are two chapters devoted to the Charger's New Zealand assembly and competition record where they remain the most successful production racecar in New Zealand's history.

Hey Charger has the blessing of the DaimlerChrysler Corporation who have officially approved the use of their carefully guarded trademarks in this book - a first for any book written on the Australian Chryslers.
