Overview
The HPI Series 3 Type "S" Distributor Only is intended as a replacement distributor for Slant 6 engines already running an HPI conversion kit. Supplied with cap and rotor, it is a practical option when your existing distributor needs replacement without buying the full mounting and conversion hardware again.
This is not a complete ignition conversion kit. It does not include the distributor mounting bracket, so your original bracket must be reused. For best results, this distributor should be used with a correctly matched coil, plugs and leads. If you are converting from a standard ignition system or are unsure of component compatibility, the complete kit is the better choice to help avoid ignition issues later.

- Vc 225 slant now runs like a dream. Has not missed a beat since install. Idles nicely and pulls smooth through entire rev range. Super happy with the purchase. Had to unbolt engine mount and raise engine to get it in but fits without any clearance issues. Amazing shipping. Arrived to perth in 2 days.
