The Chassis Rail Repair Sleeves are designed to address common structural rust issues in Chrysler Valiant vehicles, including VE, VF, VG, VH, VJ, VK, CL, and CM models. A frequent problem area is the right-hand chassis rail, especially where the steering box is mounted. These repair sleeves offer a practical solution to reinforce and restore the integrity of the chassis rails.

To install, remove the steering box (or Hemi Performance rack and pinion conversion), clean the chassis area to be covered, and slide the sleeve into place. The sleeve is designed for a snug fit, so some force may be required. After positioning, have a professional weld along the entire length of both sides of the sleeve, avoiding welding across the front and back to prevent fatigue.

Please note, this sleeve is not suitable for vehicles with the pre-2008 rack and pinion conversion system, as the chassis rail will lack the steering box bracket. For AP5, AP6, or VC models, modifications are necessary for proper fitment.
