Upgrade bottom-end clamping strength with this ARP main stud kit, designed for Mopar V8 engines using a windage tray. A smart choice for performance rebuilds, stroker builds, spirited street cars and hard-working classic restorations, main studs help provide more consistent main cap location and more even clamping compared with standard main bolts.

The 12-point nuts give a neat performance finish and allow easier tool access during assembly. This kit suits Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth and Valiant small block 273, 318, 340 and 360 engines, as well as big block wedge 383, 400 and 440 applications with a windage tray. Not suitable for 426 engines. As with any main fastener upgrade, bearing clearance and main tunnel alignment should be checked during engine assembly.
