Overview
This rack tie rod arm, commonly called a rack end or inner tie rod, is a replacement steering component to suit the power and manual steering rack and pinion assemblies used in Hemi Performance rack and pinion conversion kits.
It connects the steering rack to the outer tie rod end, helping maintain accurate steering response and front-end alignment. A worn rack end can contribute to loose steering feel, uneven tyre wear or unwanted movement in the steering linkage, so replacing it during steering maintenance or rack servicing is a sensible choice.
