Overview
Reconditioned TorqueFlite 904 torque converter to suit matching classic Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth and Valiant automatic driveline combinations. With an advertised 2200RPM stall, it is a practical choice for street-driven restorations and mild performance builds where a little more launch feel is wanted without going to an aggressive race-style converter. The reconditioned unit is ideal when refreshing an original driveline, replacing a tired converter, or completing a TorqueFlite 904 transmission installation where the converter details need to match correctly.
As with all classic Mopar converter fitment, please check your existing converter, crank locator size, spline count, bolt thread, ring gear tooth count and flex plate arrangement before fitting.
Small differences between years, engines and transmission variants can affect compatibility.
