The pistons feature CNC-machined domes, oversized valve pockets for use with larger diameter valves and higher lift camshafts, and precision-reamed, pressure-fed wrist pin oiling holes. The hastings piston rings are a high-tensile strength design featuring a plasma-moly coating to eliminate fracturing, while providing superior protection against oil blowby. Last but not least, the wrist pins are made from chromemoly for long-lasting strength, and include a set of spiro locks to keep them where they belong.
