Overview
This oil filter adaptor ring is a simple, practical solution for Chrysler engines originally fitted with a Z96 oil filter. It allows the use of the more common Z9 oil filter, making routine servicing easier and giving you broader filter choice for your classic Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth or Valiant. Ideal for restorations, regular maintenance or keeping a spare on hand, this adaptor is a small part that can make future oil changes more convenient.
The Z96 oil filter uses an M16 x 1.5 thread, while the Z9 oil filter uses a 3/4 x 16 thread. This adaptor is designed to convert the original Z96 filter thread to accept a Z9 oil filter.

- Buy this and you can easily run the easily available Z9 filters old hemi 6s had the same size hole so there is nothing to worry about and the Z9 has a larger capacity...best TAVO item yet!
