Overview
This high output ignition coil has been specifically chosen to compliment our HPI ignition conversion systems.
It requires a full 12-volts to function. Once fitted, you MUST bypass your ballast resistor or you will cause premature failure.

- HPT sticker is on upside down and bracket didn't line up with mounting brackets. I was replacing points so instructions could have been better with photos etc.

- The decal makes it look cheap and it does not bolt on to a HEMI 6 without modifications. I had to both widen and elongate the bolt holes on the mounting bracket in order to install it on a HEMI 245. Even then the coil does not fit flush on the motor because the mounting bracket hits lip of the side inspection plate. Apart from that it works well.
