Are you fitting a manual gearbox into a VE, VF, VG, VH, VJ, VK, CL or CM Valiant that was originally factory equipped with an automatic transmission?
On the inside of your driver's side guard, the factory welded in a reinforcement plate that is used to reinforce the area that your clutch pivot ball is mounted to.
As your vehicle was not a manual from the factory, some of them were not fitted with this critical reinforcing plate.
This thick precision laser cut steel plate is a suitable replacement that can be retro-fitted to vehicles to make them manual compliant.
